Contents
The project consists in the implementation of a complex energy supply concept for a cluster of 5 existing MFH in Karlsruhe. The present conventional supply should be replaced by a partly autonomous energy system made of a natural gas CHP plant (80 kWel, 130 kWth), 2 performance-controlled heat pumps (20 ‚ 80 kWth) and PV installations on the roofs. The system should be conceived and operated in such a way that local energy supply is used as much as possible (solar energy, environmental energy) and electricity surplus fed back in the main grid is limited as much as possible.
Demonstration of the following components:
- Energy supply concept for natual gas driven CHP – heat pumps – PV installations combination (ISE, KES)
- Multi-source heat sources (Viessmann)
